WHAT IS HIKVISION COLORVU TECHNOLOGY?
Hikvision ColorVu Cameras’ powerful ability to capture details in low lighting comes from two specific breakthroughs in hardware technologies: advanced lenses and high-performance sensors. Coupled with a supplemental light for extremely dark scenarios, ColorVu cameras guarantee video with colorful details when you need them.
The 4MP 1/1.8" advanced sensor is further enhanced with the Backside illumination (BSI), Dual Conversion Gain (DCG) and Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technologies to ensure bright and colorful imaging in virtually all conditions.
Built-in, environmentally-friendly, soft and warm optional supplemental lighting works to guarantee colorful images, even in complete darkness. The luminance is adjustable on a scale of 0-100.

Up to now, some of the EasyIP 3.0 cameras are powered by DarkFighter technology, in order to capture better image in the evening! But still, it needs IR LED, which captures black and white image at the low light condition.
